A Way of Paying Attention
I am Ang Wei, a photographer based in Scarsdale, New York. My working life has been in mathematics and finance. With a camera, I follow the relations that make a place more than a collection of things: water carrying the shape of a mountain, a gesture crossing a city already crowded with images. I am drawn to photographs that unfold as I stay with them, where a detail changes the way the whole scene is seen.
